Birthday rap video

A birthday verse, made personal

Skip the generic card. Add a photo of the birthday person (and yours, if you want to rap together), tell us one thing they’re known for, and write a birthday verse for them to perform.

What makes a good reference photo?
A clear starting pointOne adult or one pet, facing the camera, with even light and the whole face visible.
Choose another photoGroup photos, hidden faces and heavy shadows make identity harder to preserve.

Illustrations show framing only. Use a separate photo for each performer: A on the left, B on the right.

One person, pet or character per photo, facing the camera, face uncovered. Use photos you have permission to use — adults only for real people. No celebrities.

01

Personal, not a template

The verse is built from the details you give: their name, one memory, and the wish you want to end on. Three small details make it feel written for them.

02

Roast or celebrate — you choose

Ask for a warm toast or a friendly roast in the topic. The lyric writer keeps it kind and clean, and you can edit every line.

03

Check the name before you pay

You see and edit all four lines before checkout, so fix the spelling there. The performance may still pronounce unusual names differently.

Tips

Get a better take

  • Use the birthday person’s nickname if that’s what friends call them.
  • One memory beats five — 12 seconds holds four short lines.
  • Save the wish for the last line so the video ends on it.
  • Only use their photo if they’d be happy to see it in a video.
